good japanese foods for self cooking travelers

First I show you the Japanese letters which are typically on them package.

letter “分“ mean “minute“,
“沸騰“ mean “boiled“,
“電子レンジ“ mean “microwave“,

Most of packages are NOT microwave safe.
So you need to break the package and take out the foods to another dish or something microwave safe.

“丼“ mean “bowl“ such as …
“牛丼“ mean “ beef bowl“,
“中華丼“ mean “ chinese bowl“,
“親子丼“ mean “ chicken and egg bowl“,

親 mean parent,  子 mean children, therefore chicken and egg bowl called parent and children bowl.

Salmon and Ikura are also parent and children.
So salmon and ikura bowl also called “親子丼“.

don't need put something in additionaly.
but rice are necessary for “bowl“.

“カレー“ mean “curry“.
It’s not called curry bowl, it's called curry rice.
But it is almost same between them.
